Awesome shot Mojo, I love the atmosphere and coloring.
Without a doubt one of the best G11 captures I've ever seen.

Interesting thread, I've been doing quite some still-photography myself as a hobby. Will upload a few and post to this thread sometime.
I've got a Nikon D40x.

edit: oh, and did you use tripod for that shot?

@ Bryan, no tripod, I was actually leaning out a car window to get that shot -- rolling at about 10-15 mph.  Shooting between the telephone poles.  I would love to see other people's stuff, this is something that I've really started to enjoy and I like seeing what other people can do, it is inspiring.

@Druss, I think you give me too much credit. :) Thank you though :)  That shot was one of 4 (well 5 - but I was shooting something else when I saw the barn coming up), it was the best one - to my eye, but others may like something else.

Here is the whole series.

A photo taken of the late afternoon sky, from the top of a mountain near Christchurch, New Zealand

This was taken on the way to Kaikoura, New Zealand. I found the contrast between lush, green life and the icy cold hostility very interesting. I only wish that I'd parked the car to take the photo!
