Two Man Race In Virginia GOP Primary After Judicial Ruling
« on: January 14, 2012, 04:57:22 PM »
It'll be a two-man race in Virginia's presidential primary on March sixth.
A federal judge in Richmond rejected a legal challenge by Texas Governor Rick Perry.

Perry and three other Republican hopefuls fell short of getting the signatures needed to get on the Virginia ballot.

The three others are former GOP House Speaker Newt Gingrich, former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum and former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman.

The ruling means the Virginia ballot will only contain the names of former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney and Texas Congressman Ron Paul.

The other candidates failed to get the ten-thousand signatures needed to have their names on the ballots.
